Please understand that it may take a few days to a few
weeks for your new sheltie to adjust and learn to trust you so don't be offended if they are not very responsive to you,
they have to get to know and trust you. You have to remember that they miss their mommy (ME) and it takes awhile for
the memory to fade. They may have accidents until they learn where the doors to outside are and until they can have
control of their bladder and bowels which is typically 6 months give or take. So PLEASE be forgiving for this adjustment
period and just give them alot of love, it will pay off in the long run!
My dogs are socialized very well and live as house
members therefore they have learned to accept new situations very easily. This in return makes the transition to a new
home go very quick with little stress to dog or human.
